It's top read window maximizes readability, and the durable easy-read acrylic vials are impact resistant. The level also features Quik-Change® replaceable cover plates and vials for in the field service and has a strong holding magnetic edge that allows hands free use on iron-containing metal surfaces.

The Johnson Level 3800 Series are heavy duty magnetic aluminum I-Beam levels. These levels have been in line for over 25 years and manufactured in the USA. Built with a very robust I-Beam aluminum frame and ABS end caps, these levels are great for any job site. They are equipped with three durable acrylic vials reading plumb, level and plumb along with a very much appreciated top read window. These vials are field replaceable. A magnetic working edge is much appreciated as well because it allows the end user to work around ferrous metal surfaces hands-free.
